How To: Convertible Milkmaid Braid with Hotheads Extensions
1. After applying Hotheads Hair Extensions, place a light wave in the hair using a curling tool. After you have curled the hair, spray hair with Martino Cartier Shut Up and Kiss Me.
2. Take a triangle section on the side of the head and create 2 subsections, make sure that you stay behind the ear.
3. Begin by gathering new hair from the sides and placing the hair into the center of the braid. Keep the center secured with the opposite hand. Grab new hair from the opposite side and place in the center of the braid.
4. Continue working down the head. Every fourth time you cross hair into the center of the braid, grab hair from the outside of the subsections. This will allow you to braid onto her head, instead of on top.
5. Once the braid gets to the nape of the head, complete with a fishtail braid. Secure with a hair tie. Continue this braid on the opposite side. Once you are completed, you will have 2 braids.
6. Take both braids, and crisscross them, one braid will go underneath, continue to wrap the braid around the head. Make sure the braid goes behind the ear. Secure braid over the head with 2 bobby pins.
7. Repeat this step with the second braid.
8. To create a second look, remove bobby pins. Gently pinch the braid to loosen the hair. This will create a thicker braid.
9. Create a custom braid by sewing the braids together. Take hair needle and thread and begin to sew the two fishtail braids together
